I’ve got several boxes of keycaps for the old mac (before the G4)…. I’m sort of sure (comforting, that) they’ll work… Send me an email at videopelliatmsndotcom and we’ll work something out.

It should have been displayed on the page when you bought the upgrade…

If you are running WinXP, make sure you have SP2 installed. That was a huge issue for me, since our network folks hadn’t ‘blessed’ SP2. It delayed my install by about 3 months.

    Thanks, but I’m stuck on OS 10.2 – it’s an Avid thing….

    Any other suggestions?

Just like you did to V1, except you patch the active track to V2, and hit the little red arrow…. Avid doesn’t really do drag and drop. It’s more of a ‘park the blue line and overwrite/splice in’ kind of thing…

Why don’t you edit it to V2? It accomplishes the same thing. If you are doing a music video, try multicam – it’s da’ bomb…

Drag you active track indicator to V2. Right now, your screen shot shows you have V1 as the active track. Click and hold on active track indicator, and you’ll see a list of tracks. Select V2, and you should be golden.

The 2gb limit is an OS issue, not an Avid issue.

I don’t think you can adjust levels on import in any program. You could certainly bring them in the old fashioned way (play them through an ipod-type device, adjusting the levels from the device), but that’s real-time, and real-time is so nineties….
