Sorry to ask, but could you send a Screengrab of this error, either onto here or to support@borisfx.com? I ask because I took a look in the same directory for my Boris RED 5 (C:\Program Files\Boris FX, Inc\BorisPlugins5Common64\BorisPluginsFEC6Boris64) but this has no such file inside. With that, if this is this happening when launching RED from inside an NLE, can you confirm if the Standalone version (from inside the Start menu) has the same error?
Thank you.

Hello Kuhnen,
I believe Resolve 15 uses the same OFX plugin directory, so the same Resolve install option for RED should install RED into this version of Resolve. However, I took a look at RED inside Resolve 15 with an associate, and we found a notable problem with the coloring of the footage; the interface appeared to operate as normal, but this color problem might appear on your end as well. RED has gone Legacy so if this problem appears on your end as well, you might need to use RED as either a standalone Engine or within an earlier Resolve version, like 11 or 12. Having said that, most of the RED functions have been ported over to our Continuum product, which does fully support Resolve 15, so I would recommend taking a look at Continuum OFX 2019 if you have not done so already.
Thank you.

Hi Damian,
Thank you for your inquiry. I apologize for any inconvenience.
If you could please email my associate at support@borisfx.com, attention Eric. He is more than happy to conduct a remote session, where he can see/discuss your desired end result, and assist in real time. We look forward to assisting you with this Mocha track and appreciate your patience.
Thank you.

February 12, 2018 at 6:53 pm in reply to: Final Effects Complete no visible with Adobe CC2017Hi Michel,
There can be a few factors at play that I would like to check with you, so quickly, I was wondering if you can quickly send an email to support@borisfx.com – you can put it to my attention (Jon). As previously inquired by Boris, let me know your FEC version, as well as your OS, and we’ll take it from there.
Thank you.

Hi Doug,
If you shoot an email to my attention (you can just put “Attn Jon”) to support@borisfx.com, I’ll work with a colleague to get you a temporary license for BCC AVX 11, which would install and license exactly as you would if you purchase. This way, you can use this as a test run before spending any money.
Thanks,
Jon

Hi Kuhnen.
To the right of the drop-down menu (in the Text window) for the Font, there are buttons for Bold, Italics and Underline. In order to enable the Underlining for existing text, however, you will need to Highlight the text in the Text window first.
Thanks.

Hi Chris,
Generally the User Guide will use a Web Browser to launch, even though the contents are local, and will default to your Default Browser. As such, what is the Default Browser that your RED User Guide is loading into? If it’s Firefox (or possibly Chrome), you will want to either change your Default Browser, or instead launch a different Browser quickly, such as Safari or Internet explorer, and go to this page –

Hi Bob,
Could you send an email to my attention (just ‘Attention: Jon’ would be fine) to support@borisfx.com? I suspect this problem is connected to problems with one or more Serials/License Entries in place, but I would prefer not to discuss Serial specifics on a public forum.
Thanks.

Hi Peter,
For Graffiti, you will need to have your EPS be saved out as an Illustrator 8 file, and will need to be set to Line Art.

August 21, 2017 at 3:46 pm in reply to: Making text spin around a 3d sphere on the same axisHi Chris,
Are you looking to do this inside RED right now, or are you looking to do this via another means, like BCC Title Studio or BCC Extruded Text? We made a tutorial via Avid FX, which uses the same interface/workflow as Boris RED, which you can view here –
