I’d like to see the ‘streaking’ u mention. Cam u post a screen grab of the problem? Might be something else that we can help with. Could be interlacing, field dominance… Something else…

How did u grade this project? Did u use a tv monitor using mpeg-2 renders to see what it would look like on a calibrated tv with colour bars? Or did u work off the computer screen itself? There is a great diffrence in the look and gamma of a computer LCD and a tv LCD. Different white points and gamma.
Mpeg2 does have it’s limits and so does footage not shot uncompressed when graded then recompressed to mpeg-2.
What did u shoot in? What kind of images have u composited from? Original files jpeg?
Hollywood films have expensive hardware that does the compression calculation. With many passes to squeeze the best possible mpeg-2 from the original uncompressed media.
Calibrated tv is the best way to monitor a grade for tv destination.

It should work so long as it is the last effect on your list…
Have u tried to use the edit as a nest and add the track matte as the only effect on it. Meaning all the grading and edit is done inside the nest.

Vince as always right on the mark. I’d also check the project was stereo and not 5.1 where some audio may have been thrown into other audio channels that just aren’t being used on some stereo based systems. Or mono one’s also.

Are u certain PPro and AME are running their latest updates. if one is not in sync with their respective updates things don’t connect nice.

Did you install PPro before installing QT. That may have an effect. It is stated that QT should be installed prior to installing PPro for QT export function.
Reinstall PPro and it should be all good.

U need to use the crop function and set it to the same ratio as your export. (16:9) the shift the crop box to find centre. Check the output look before sending it to the queue in ame.

Fastest Way to correct for this overall is to dedicate a track for Stereo Audio you want to be heard as combined Mono.
Then Add Track to Timeline (Right Click the names of tracks bit in the timeline) set Video to 0 Audio to 0, but Submix to 1 and select Mono. Press OK.
Now go to the Audio Mixer Panel and set the very bottom of the Track you have in Stereo for Mono and set the option under the levels number from Master to the Submix Track. Rename the Submix Track so you know its for Combined St to Mono (just MONO would work).
Whallah. Now when ever you have a clip using the Stereo signal make sure it sits in the Track Dedicated to the Mono Submix and your gold.

Are you sure you have the updated version of AME aswell as the updated version of PPro? If they are not the same updated versions they wont ‘talk’ from PPro, but AME will still work as a separate app.
AME should say 4.2.0.006 in about
PPro should say 4.2.1 in about
