Sorry, the G5 PPC chip is not supported. You’ll need the intel chip mac’s. Look at the system requirements for ppro.
Check the adobe.com/products/premiere site and hit the sys req link.

Hi Chris,
Yes, the current PPro format to work with sync audio/vision is to create a new seq.
The way to open it in the source panel is to hold down the (PC) Control key or (Mac) Command Key while double clicking it. Then it will open in the source monitor.

You shouldn’t need to do anything else other than save and close as per normal.
Clearing the media cache may cause this issue…
Once you are in AE relink a clip then the correction on AE should show up in PPro.
Try to save and close AE first, then PPro and relaunch PPro.
If it comes up properly then I’d say that a process hadn’t finished doing something when it was shutdown?

In cs4 u need to have the track itself highted for the function to actively see the match (m) the clip. Simply selecting the clip is not enough.
U may need to only have the track for that clip highlighted if there are other clips in the same point in time.Jon Barrie

Did you possibly install this as a 30 Trial?
The Trial mode does not support HDV use.
You will need to activate it, or reinstall it making sure you do it with the serial.
It’s possible that you forgot to (or it didn’t work) deactivate the previous install on Win7 32bit and you have used up all your activations.
To correct that you will need to call the Adobe Support line and spend the next hour waiting before they ask you heaps of questions to verify your legal ownership.

I’ve taken the screen grab provided and highlighted the area that is the work area bar. Then circled the ends to indicate the “hooks” that are the work area bar start and end points.
You can either grab the hooks and drag them where you want them (they will snap to cuts with snapping function. Or you can position your playhead (CTI – current time indicator) and use the shortcuts alt+[ for start and alt+] for end.

What’s happened here is the clips that AE were referencing have lost their connection somehow.
If you select one of the DynLink Comps and Edit Original (Ctl+E or Cmd+E) it will open the AE project. Be sure to link up 1 of the files. Hopefully the rest will automatically reconnect. Provided you’ve used the same AE project for all the comps this will fix the entire issue in PPro.
Is it possible you are working from an external drive that may have changed drive letter? Or did you possibly move any of the project files since you last worked on it? Either of these situations will cause this problem.

Set the Work Area Start and End to the desired area and rendering will only occur in that section.
Drag it with the mouse or use Alt+[ for snap start to CTI (playhead) position and Alt+] for snap end to CTI position.

I recall the original post stated the flv files were being made with a movavi converter and not via adobe products.
That would be my first port of call. Export from ppro and see the difference in quality.

I would suggest you are using a widescreen monitor and set the graphic card settings to a 4:3 rsolution and the entire monitor is stretching it all out.
When u say source do you mean the source panel? You will only see pillar bars when adding 4:3 clips in a 16:9 timeline.
