I hade some similar problems (maybe its not the same).

Some time the Even library loaded perfectly and then it became extremely slow.
I did some error handling, and it work agin and the same painfully slow loading.
At last after (reinstalling, etc. etc.) I fond the problem.

RAID with Western Digital green (variable rpm 5400-7200) was the problem.

Motion 5 isn’t that expensive try that one first. As somebody said in an earlier post, its the same keyer but it have more controls.

Its very easy to used

Is this problem reallated to my problem that sometimes when you in Event Library scroll, scimming och chose a clipp, it can take ages for the action to apper in the viewer.

So if I wait about very long time after started FCP X.
Scimming and other actions will be incredibla fast.

One less step in the workflow makes life little easier, one step less make the possibility for a mistake smaller.

If you have motion 5, use that keying insteed.
It is basicly the same, but you have more parameters to work with to fine adgust the keyer.
The “light wrap” is one tool that makes it easier to make the forground to “Marry” with the background.

Otherwise, buy Motion 5, its not that expensiv in compairsment to kosing tha jobb.

Yes it works.

But extract sound from xxx.mov, resync inside FCP X.

If it can go wrong it will, and I will end up some files with none sync and the I have to fix that.

So I rather se it work. But until the bugg is fix I had to take that extra amount with work.

Ok!

My workaround is to bring it up in god old QT 7, extrakt the sound and then make à new compund cliipp.

But i try the resave the file with QT 7

Nothing.

The audio tab doesn’t show up at all, only Video and Info
