    While waiting on drivers for Intensity Pro card so we can capture direct with FCP X like with FCP 7.

    Is capture direct into folder “Final Cut Event/~/Original Media”, god idea or does it messing up the the Event Liberary and Render-transcoding process.

    If you are capturing directly to a Quicktime format and have transcoding turned off, you should be OK. You’ll have to restart FCPX for the media to show up in the event library.

    why not just get it link to media on import

    you wont be able to capture and have it keep updating in FCPx
