No, I would set the project properties to the unsqueezed resolution at PAR 1.0. You don’t want to be cropping anything. You want to work in the full resolution.

It blindly replaces some of the high quality codecs that you paid Sony for with free alternatives that might not be as good. We have seen people have render problems with certain codecs and then uninstall K-Lite and re-install Vegas Pro and the problem goes away. This has happened several times so it all points to K-Lite being the problem.

Yea, I was going to mention that but it may be too late for the warning. It sounds like lots of codecs have been installed including QuickTime which doesn’t have anything to do with Windows AVI files. Let’s see what codec the file really needs but the damage may have already been done w.r.t. K-Lite. Let’s hope not.

You would need access to the Script Development SDK which is no longer downloadable that I can see. I tried to download it from the Sony site but it redirects me to the main page of MAGIX site with no downloadable link in sight. 🙁
Maybe someone here has an old bookmark that still works. I do not.

I would not use an aspect ratio other than 1.0. Most media players don’t handle aspect ratios well. Render it out as 2554×1080 with a square aspect ratio of 1.000. If MainConcept can’t handle that width then you have no other choice but to use an aspect ratio of 1.3333 but I would render as square pixels if you can.

You have your Mask set to only apply to FX which is why it’s not altering your video. In the upper left corner in the Properties list, change the Mask property of Apply to FX from Yes to No. That should fix your problem.
