That’s odd because Track Motion keyframes operate at the Track level (as the name implies). They are not affected by what events are on the track.

I’m glad that worked. It’s important to understand that there are different types of keyframes. You can right-click on any keyframe to select the type. If you changed the keyframe type to a Hold keyframe, you would not have had to add a second one because the first value would be held until it encounters another value. You also could have just set the very first keyframe to that value and it would have held as well. I’m glad you’re learning more about 3D Track Motion and keyframing instead of solving it with a 2D title. 😉

Yes there is. Vegas Pro 13 Suite comes with HitFilm 3 Pro which has a particle generator. You could also download the FREE Hit Film 3 Express The Force which has Star Wars Light Sabre and Lightening effects. You can buy more effects packs to add more effects as you grow.
Boris Continuum Complete also has a 3D particle generator (BCC Particle Emitter 3D) that plugs right into Vegas Pro. I use this all the time and I’ve produced several tutorials on Boris TV on how to use it. But if Star Wars effects is what you want… look no further than HitFilm. It was designed for this sort of thing.

Only if you set it up that way. Go to your Library Properties and make sure that the Cache is set to In Library.

You mean Movie Studio? Set the preview window to Best (Full) and click the floppy disk icon to save a still image. That’s as good as it gets.

Vegas Pro is a video editor. What you want to do can only be done in an Image editor like GIMP or Photoshop as Vegas Pro only supports video resolutions. Changing the project resolution one by one for those image resolutions that match video resolutions is your only choice. For those that don’t, you are out of luck. I would do this task with an image editor.

It looks like you’re looking at a feature that never got implemented. The Internal Preferences contain lots of parameters that are never used. That’s why they are hidden. I’ve never read anything about being able to change the skin for Vegas Pro other than the one checkbox in the preferences to use native Windows colors or not.

Right-click on the Event and open the Properties. In the Media tab, see what the Pixel Aspect Ratio is set to. Vegas Pro might be guessing that 1440×1080 is HDV and using a 1.333 PAR. if so, change it back to 1.0 and it should right itself.
