Thanks…
go to the “compilation window” (tabbed next to timeline window)once you have pictures there and look at the row of buttons along the top – it’s the fourth from the left. -
If you want to apply it to only some of the tracks, then use the individual track FX where you want them. As far as saving and copying FX attributes, keyframes from one track to another, explain what you want to accomplish and someone more experienced than I will answer.

I found a solution: Microsoft has a utility called “Windows Install Cleanup”. Since the uninstall programs for itunes and quicktime are screwed up, you may need this:

September 16, 2007 at 7:42 pm in reply to: With Vegas 8 I have to purchase the ability to do ac3 w/custom settings?I recorded a small file, went to Render As, Dolby Pro AC3, preprocessing tab, changed a few things, clicked save, and boom, it rendered, saved it to a folder. This is the full trial version of V8. I don’t see how the paid version could be different (since you just enter your key, right?) You are talking about the tabs with bitstream modes and sample rates, right? Did it let you do a few first and then cut you off? Or was it from the beginning?

Thanks, but antivirus is off. Well, there is another error message after I close the first one – it says “could not uninstall older version of quicktime”. So I tried to do that myself, but nope, the windows uninstall doesn’t respond. …maybe if someone knows how to uninstall this thing “manually” it might work?
Thanks. -
When you drag out the end of an clip past its “actual” end, you’ll notice a V-shaped notch appears along the top edge of the event. That’s the point where the clip will now begin over from the start, or “loop”. Just don’t drag the event out that far. If you do, you’ll notice a slight hesitation or resistance in the drag before the clip starts looping. Drag it back again and you’ll notice it “snap” into the proper place. I’ve never needed to turn this function off.

So you’re saying I should render them seperately, using the DVDA Video Stream template, then do an AC3 render for the audio even though it’s just stereo, and that the .WAV is no good.

Mike recommends the JVC TMH 150 CGU. Anyone know about the Sony, for about the same price, the PVM 14L1? At B&H too, it has S video in, instead of just the composite in on the JVC.

Thanks Mike. I may get that JVC. Sounds like you’re saying that even if I just use a cheap TV that it should be a CRT instead of an LCD.

That was the fastest response ever. Thanks you guys, saved me a lot of searching the manual.
