A year or two ago, I would have said hands down, iZotope RX Advanced (part of their RX Post Production bundle) was number one. But today a number of new noise reduction apps have appeared. I think I have 5 or 6 total. IMHO, the easiest to use are Waves’ Clarity Vx and Accentize’s dxRevive. They are terrific for cleaning dialogue tracks, basically one-knob solutions. dxRevive is almost magical, as not only does it remove noise, but reintegrates missing frequency components. It deals with broadband noise, clipping, clicks & pop, and reverb. The basic versions cost about $30. There are also Pro versions which have a few more features, and in the case of dxRevive an addition denoise model, but the basic engine is the same. I’ve seen a couple reports that FCP has problems with Clarity Vx, but it works fine for me with Sonoma 14.1.2, MacBook Pro, M2Max, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD.

I’m not an expert AE user and am unsure what sliders you’re referring to. Hopefully this helps. Right-click on the position keyframe and look to the bottom of the list that opens for Animation Assistant. Ease and Easy Ease will smoothly stop the move. If the text layers are the same length, they should all move the same way.

Downsides to me are no internal ND and only one xlr in. Not a problem if you only run double-system, but with a small crew or one-man-band, a real disadvantage.

Have you tried to adjust the transition duration in the timeline? If not, select the transition, click Control+D, enter a new time, and Enter. Most transitions can be changed this way.

Ribbon mics have very low output compared to condenser mics. While some mixers may have sufficient input gain for ribbon mics, many do not. You need a device like a Cloudlifter which is an inline very clean preamp that uses phantom power to provide the extra gain you need.

Try this. In the media pool before you drop a clip on the timeline right click on it and go to clip attributes. On the Audio tab, change Format to Mono and tracks to two.

Unfortunately, there’s no quick solution. You need to drag each full rez file over the low rez one and select “Replace from start.” If you have applied any transforms or effects to a clip, before replacing the clip, first copy it (CMD-C), then insert the high rez clip, and Paste Attributes (Shift+CMD+V). That will apply all the transforms and effects (which may need to be tweaked). If you’ve edited parts of a clip, you may have to line up each part separately.

What I do when I’m using temporary audio or video files is first turn each into a Compound Clip then edit the compound clip. Later, when you get the high rez version, replace it into the original Compound Clip and all your edits will be preserved.

I haven’t heard of BRAW 2. Could it be a duplicate of another file? If not, try removing the 2 in the file name and see if it opens, Worst case, it doesn’t.
