Actually, if the timebase is the same, you can play sequences inside other sequences. They nest. What you can do to see three at once (assuming your drives can keep up) os add the three seqs to a fourth seq, then size eacj within the motion tab so all fit.

The audio shop may not have known the difference between 23.976 and 24. Pro Tools has a simple dropdown to apply .1% up or down to deal with this. Changing the sample rate as Bouke suggests is the easiest way. BTW 16 vs 24 bit depth will not affect sync.

Rescaling well is difficult for many encoders, so do the rescaling to final size in Compressor with Frame Controls on and the rescaling control set to Best. If you own Video Purifier, it scaling is excellent. Then set your data rate for the max allowed or max file size allowed (which is data rate x total seconds of video). Maybe that will help.

I have an associate who uses MediaMover on his Avid and he swears by it. His Avid dumps all clips in one directory without distinguishing which file goes with which project. MediaMover makes sense of this and can show where all a project’s media resides. Of course, this implies all the media are in locations defined by Avid in a certain way. I don’t know anybody using it on a Mac. Checkout the trial version. Just be sure to back up your media drives before doing anything.
