pixels/ rendering/ bad image in Final cut
Hi can someone help
I shot a video on mini DV tapes using a Sony HDV camera. After I played it out with another camera ( not HDV) onto the TV and it looked fine, little dark. I transfered it onto Final Cut 6.06, not knowing that i had to change the settings. So it was all captured with Pal. It looked terrible, I read at few forums that i can change things in the final cut so i did the following:
–User preference -Apple Pro Res 422.
Easy setup- HDV- 1080i60. ( do i have to also write a rate and format of the video, and if so what?)
Audio/Video setting
Device control- Sony HDV 1080i50 Firewire.
Capture Presets- HDV
Sequence preset- 1080i60.
The image already looks better, but is above right, do i need to change other things? After i tried to play in color correction, just a little, and it looked ok, but once rendered it looks very pixelated and lines going through with movements. what can i do about this?
Also do I have to change something the sequence setting?
I hope someone knows something.
Thank you
