    Thanks fo the good ideas.

I have tried the texture idea, however the problem is in the clean edges not just the straight white of the titles.

    What magic bullet plugin? Frames?

The fast blur, is that it just does that, it makes it look slightly blurry.

I have tried stuff out like Roughen edges, but it still looks digital. I think what I need to do is go old school and just print out the titles and photograph the. Any other thoughts?

    Thanks,

    More or less.

The audio is mostly one aif file, with a few other bits put in over it.

However the audio is not problematic. When I compare the final timeline to the export, the audio is in the exact same spot. It is the video that is moving at a slightly faster rate.

  • No.

If I had the master I could just take out those two seconds and replace them with a new title card.

Thank you for your help. However I am a little unclear. Is “+1” the name of a program? Or are you agreeing with the the previous post?

I took a look at the program and unfortunately I don’t think it will meet my needs. The issue is that it only has two options-a whole Backup or an incremental backup where I have to choose the items.

What I am looking for is a cloning program that can do an incremental backup, but where it can intelligently find the programs that are not on one drive and take them from the other direction. The transfer of files may have to go in both directions, so a traditional backup program I don’t think would suffice.

Is it possible for Carbon Copy to do this, or does anyone else have any recommendations?

    Thank you kindly.

    Hmmmmm…..

A few things. Definitely that makes sense to me. But two things that perhaps you might be offer some help with/thoughts on:

    1) Even though the VHS has no tc, when it captures, it creates time code for the file no? For example, there are in and out times that I can enter. But does that not count as “true” time code?

    2) If it does not, and that is the crucial difference…. Does anyone have any thoughts on whether there might be a way around this?

I could go first to DV, and then import. But if there is any other thoughts, please pass them along!

Thank you all for the help so far!
