Just to make things more crazy, I downloaded and looked at your project and the noise didn’t show up for me.

I noticed the noise is transparency in your project, why not put a white solid back there and see if that gets rid of the problem. Also, render out a frame and see if the noise is in the render-perhaps it’s just in the comp window display(have no idea why that would be though).

I downloaded the project files and it looks like he created the text in Illustrator, copied the paths, made a solid in AE and pasted the paths.

You could also just use the text tool in AE, select the layer and under the layer pulldown choose “create masks from text”

Not sure why the workflow you are using isn’t working, but one thing you could do import and keylight in AE, put your background layer in below the greenscreen footage, then render the entire thing out and import into Premiere.

It isn’t as efficient as the method you described, but you can get the job done this way.

If you have access to AE, Carl Larsen has a tutorial that simulates whip pans. Depending on your Avid package(plugins) you might be able to do it Avid too.

Gotcha. What you could do is daisy chain nulls. Now that the first Null is too large and hard to move around, create a another null and parent the first null to it….and so on if more are needed.

I don’t know the keyboard shortcuts in Dutch, but in English you would be looking for “Mask Path” and click the stop watch, the shortcut key is “M”.

You can get there by twirling open your solid layer, twirl up “Mask” and twirl open the correct Mask, if it’s the only mask on the layer it would be “Mask 1”, now just enable the “Mask Path” stopwatch.
