If you build a playlist with the copyright stills or movies without buttons on them, then people cannot click elsewhere. If you build the playlist so that the menu follows the copyright, then it should play through without being able to click elsewhere.

Also, of course, the first play feature.

Try this and let us know.

    Thanks,

You should try 4 or 5 clips in pan and zoom before you give up. Remember, it’s included.

Also, do you have Avid FX (otherwise known as Boris RED)? How about Boris FX? All of these do terrific pan and zoom effects. In fact, I will sit down with the Boris RED engine on a laptop when I don’t have the Avid around and create a bunch of p&z moves and save them out to .mov files. Then I import them into Avid and edit away.

Once it has been captured, my experience is that there is no difference in working with HDV or DVCPro HD than working with DV 25. Just as fast, and real time effects play nicely with HDV and DVCPro HD.

I even put four HDV clips into multicam mode and edited with them without any delays or problems. And this was on a laptop!

Yes, you will be able to jam sync time code on two HVX200s. Even with the new DVX100B.

10 – 12 variable frame rates (12, 24, 48, 60 for sure) are to be included. Jan, of course, is pushing for 12. No ramping on the HVX200. Maybe a feature for the HVX 300? 😉

    Bob,

I have a xw8000 built to Avid specs by my reseller. I would like to add the SATA card and drives as well. Can you tell me what slot the SATA card should go in to be on the second PCI bus? Or is it the only other slot for this type of card?

    Thanks,
