  • The trick was to make the right side monitor the main monitor. Just do that in the settings tab of the display properties. Other than that, I don’t think there is a work around. This is, of course, if you want the video to be on the right side.

  • Thanks.

So, apparently Microsoft has stopped supporting extended desktop in Win7 and Vista? That is what we are hearing from our Matrox rep. Fun times….

  • To be perfectly honest, and I’ll be showing my ignorance to Windows 7, but I don’t know. I never thought I would say this but I miss XP! I think it is dual.

We are thinking it has to do with the Matrox MXO2 Rack and related drivers. When we switch to a non-Matrox sequence, it works fine.

Cool thanks. So it looks like the main things to check are the virtual memory and start up items. No BIOS tweaks? I’m assuming I should take the Vista notes and apply to Win7 where applicable?

    I appreciate the help.

Hi Bob. I appreciate your response.

I am looking for what other people generally do. As an integrator, OBVIOUSLY we label all cables and document installs, that is a given. We also choose colors of cable for our VIDEO, but not audio. We use black for audio in general unless we use a multi-core cable where we get the color code you mentioned.

I wanted to see if there were any other standards other people were aware of as I have not found any others online. I was hoping there was one as I am having a minor dispute over changing our company’s policies on cable color code, which I don’t want to do. All black is not an option at all.

If there are others out there who do run colored cable, what do you generally use? The colors I mentioned in my original post? Alternatives?

    Thanks.

    Here is what I found:

The Sony HVRM35, HVRM25A, and HVRM15A can play back JVC 720 HDV tapes
at 30P, 24P and 25P. No other resolutions or frame rate including 60
are supported, firewire output is not supported. HVRM15 only
    supports 30P.

This info is from the Sony Posse.
