Handing a recordable DVD over for mastering is not the cleanest workflow. I don’t know whether that would be responsible for the problem or whether it was something on their end when they converted it to DDP.

However, mastering to DLT from Encore for replication is definitely a supported workflow, and should yield correct results. If the problem persists, look to the replicator first, and call Adobe second.

Use Encore to build a DVD folder (you can do this in the Build panel), and then use the folder as the source for ImgBurn.

If it was pressed, it was replicated. But you’ll want to find that out for sure.

That’s fine quality. I’m guessing that somehow it’s not being properly closed by Encore.

There are a couple of avenues you may want to try – one would be to build a DVD folder and use ImgBurn (freeware) to burn it using the same brand of DVD-R and try this with your duplicator. Another would be to try burning a DVD+R instead, and see if that works on the duplicator’s system.

That should be enough data (I’ve heard reports that this happens when data is 1 GB or less).

Which disc format did you burn to?

Sorry I wasn’t clearer, I meant how much data is written on the disc?

  • No.

However, you could combine all the subtitles from those two tracks into a new subtitle track. That may work for you.

Did they replicate your DVD, or did they duplicate it?

Button routing is where you set each of the arrow keys on the remote control to take you to another button in the menu. This should not be confused with button linking. Do a search on “button routing” in Encore’s help.

I don’t see any obvious problem with your timeline situation.

How much content is on the disc?
