Use the Highpass filter and adjust the Cutoff down to about 150Hz to 200Hz to get you in the proper range, then fine tune the setting to your liking.

We just moved from 10.9 to 10.10 and from CC2014 to CC2015 with no problems. We even opened a few projects that were CC(2013). When you open those older projects it will convert them to a new CC2015 project and save it as a new project without damaging the original.

AAC is a good codec, very little compression, larger file size. The Dolby makes a smaller audio file, it is compressed, but nothing that is noticeable.

I don’t recommend editing with headphones unless that is the way your viewer is going to hear the program.
But if needed, this is an excellent monitoring set;
Sony MDR-7502 Supra-Aural Closed-Back Professional Monitor Headphone.
They don’t artificially boost the bass like many general consumer headphones do and they are comfortable.Joe

Highlight the sequence in the Project window. Go to the Edit menu at the top bar and see if Duplicate is in the list there.

Go with the 1920×1080 and the pillar box. That way you don’t lose any of your image or distort it by changing the ratio. Also, leave the frame rate at 29.97. You may cause some audio problems if the frame rate is not altered properly. Best to leave it alone.
Someone else will have to comment on H.264 vs. .mov, I haven’t done any comparisons.
