A final attempt: If you upgraded from v7 to v8, you do not loose your existing BCC version. And that BCC version that worked with v7 will work with v8. You don’t need a new installer, you just keep the install you have, or if that has accidentally be deleted from your system, you re-install that original BCC version you got with v7, using the license key that you received with that.
Yes, v8 did not include BCC. But you already had it. You didn’t loose that license.

So if you had MC7 and BCC was included, that BCC plugin will still work if you upgrade to MC8.
The only time AVX compatibility was broken, was from AVX to AVX2 (a long time ago) and from MC5.5 to MC6 (from 32bit to 64bit).So again, if you had MC7 with BCC, an upgrade to MC8 will not make your BCC useless. You can keep BCC installed. You don’t have to upgrade your version of BCC when you upgrade your version of MC.
If you did not have BCC on v7, that’s another story, but your post suggested you did.
Not sure what your complaint is.

Unfortunately, that is not how MatchFrame works, it does not know about any ‘history’, it only stores one ‘connection’.
That said, you should be able to the original audio, depending on how it was brought in.
Park on the clip you need to find the other tracks for, hit MatchFrame. With the synced clip loaded in the source monitor, deselect V1 on the source(!) side, and hit MatchFrame again. This should open up the audio-only clip. If the original tracks were brought in individually, you can only matchframe back to one of the used tracks. If the original tracks were brought in as multitrack master clips, that clip with all tracks will pop up.
But it would be way easier to do this in Pro Tools. Simply copy all audio media to a disk for sound editorial and create a non-embedded (“link to media”) AAF of your sequence. In PT, open this AAF, and flag the dialogue tracks as “Field Recorder Guide Tracks”. This allows the sound editor to bring up all related tracks for each timeline event, and extract those ISO channels onto separate tracks. Can be done in batch as well.

The annoying thing is that the default pan is a user setting. So if you are cutting with pan centered by default, and I cut with pan L/R by default, any sequence I open from you will have mono dialogue split across L and R (it defaulted to center when you were working, so no pan is applied to any segment, and the default pan at my end is L/R). If you open any of my sequence, all stereo music I may have cut across two mono tracks will play centered on your end.
It should not be a user setting, but that’s what it is.
Also, this is a really good reason to start using stereo tracks for stereo elements, and then set the default pan to center.

You cannot pan tracks or default pan tracks. You can only add pan to segments. The default pan setting only applies to how unpanned segments on mono tracks are handled. If any segment on the timeline has a pan value added to it, that pan value will be applied, whether the default pan setting is L/R or centered doesn’t matter in that case.

Red segment select the clip, hit ctrl-x (pc) or cmd-x (mac). That’s Power Delete, takes out the clip and any effects applied to it in one go.

Sonic Avid DVD assumes 0-255 and I have never found a way to change that. So it will remap whatever you feed it to 16-235. Which means it would be best to export with the ‘RGB’ button ticked in MC.

601/709 will look washed out on a computer monitor (which is normally not calibrated to legal 601/709).
If you use your export to create a DVD, it depends whether or not your DVD encoding application is expecting 16-235 or 0-255. A lot of apps will assume your are feeding it 0-255, and they remap – which of course yields wrong results if your export already is video legal.
