I’ve always tried and make it so that one machine had the actual master project, and anyone on any other system would send bins over in that direction. Depends on your workflow if that is at all possible.

But adding an AddEdit does create a MatchFrame Edit.

I’d start by trashing MCState, or even create a brand new user profile and see if the issue persists.

If your Matchframe Edits are red, this indicates that one or both sides of the clip have an effect applied. This could be a source-based color correction (Symphony only) or a motion adapter, FrameFlex, or any other effect type. These will not be removed using Remove MatchFrame Edits.

What I usually do is duplicate my sequence, strip the audio tracks, then create a macro that makes an audio cut for every picture cut. I call it “Audio-follows-Video”. I AAF that along with the actual cut. It gives the dialogue editors sync sound to every frame of the sequence, even if it has been replaced by another take. It allows them to steal sighs, sniffs and what not.

You probably duplicated your sequence without loading it into the Record Monitor. Happens to me all the time. Search your bins for any copy of the sequence that you actually reworked.
