Apply a 3D Warp from the Blend category, under rotate, choose the Z slider and adjust.

You might want to ask around on the Avid Forums in the Unity section.
The other thing to consider might be the different support contracts offered by HP and Apple. The latter seems to be less impressive.

In the Capture settings, there’s an option to set the maximum capture duration. Perhaps that is set wrong? Just a shot in the dark…

Right-click on your composer window and choose 16×9.
As for importing graphics and such, they will need to be formatted into 16×9 SD video size (prior to importing) in order to allow proper importing.
You’ll _not_ be able to import a square pixel wide screen image without changing its aspect ratio when working in 16×9. It’s a pretty old unfixed issue in Avid, unfortunately.
As a workaround, you can switch your project to HD, import a square pixel widescreen graphic, switch back to SD, and transcode the imported file to SD.
You might also copy and paste graphics into the Title Tool, which will correctly create 16×9 titles. Andd there’s also Pan&Zoom for stills.

  • As Michael wrote, you get the exact same H264 encoding options in MC as you get in QT Pro. Click the options or settings button in the QT export window.
If quality is important, choose a multipass H264 encoding.

No, no, the 3.0.1 “update” is ONLY meant for Tiger, not Leopard.

    Shane,
With v3, the 1.67 GHz G4 Powerbook is no longer on the approved systems list, AFAIK. Folks are running 3.0.1 on it, but I would not expect it to be able to capture any flavor of HD. How much RAM is in it?

You should not use QT 7.5 with those versions of MC.
You should be on QT 7.2 for MC 2.7.x and on QT 7.3 for MC 2.8.x
Pay close attention to the Avid system specs, and follow them religiously.
