That it very cool. Did you use the partical system to spread out the people as one would in after effects or did you go about it another way? Either way this is solid stuff cant wait for Motion 5
Motions snapping is always off by just a little. You can go into the inspector – properties – set the x and y to 0 and scale your shape up. ( there should be no reason your rectangle cant be bigger than your canvas)
No, I’m exporting to transparent. Even if i changes the “world” color to white it will still be transparent and quicktime chooses to show transparent by being black.
When i render my animation (which is black) in plays just fine and i can use it just fine in After Effects and Motion but when I want to preview it before i drag it into my project it isn’t visable in quicktime due to the fact that the quicktime player is also black… so i cant see the image to preview it.. i wanna change the quicktime canvas BG color to Grey or White.
What i ment by export to layer is what Mark said it can already do. Take an h264 file and export or convert it to prores without it leaving the layer. Ill have to look into it when i get to the office.
