There’s also a chance you have a corrupt timeline. Create a new timeline and copy and paste your project into it… render and export. See if that helps.

The deck will make no difference what-so-ever. You will need a FCP set up with a Kona 3 card or something similar in order to take advantage of HD-SDI. Also, make sure your media drives are fast enough and with enough through-put to support HDCAM data rates.
