Hi Steve
I tried to get graffiti to work but is says it’s timed out. This is the first day after loading the new version. I am testing this on my Mini as I have several producers working on docs that I have to online and they want to or are using FCP for their offline. I’m trying to move them this direction instead as I have to finish them on either an 844 or m100HD.Help

Ok I tried it on a MAC Mini 1.42 with 1gb ram Graffiti says it’s timed out even though I just downloaded it yesterday 8/13/05. Any ideas?

We are only using Flip4mac Player Pro as we make TC window .wmv of every field tape as it comes in the door via Pictron’s video gateway software onto a low res server and log them on the producers desktop PC’s. I had a producer request QT .mov copies of these files to offline his Documentary in FCP so I had to convert them. The process was a pain as we had to import the .wmv files into Media100 HD (prety much an over night batch) and then export each file as a self contained movie. There are 95 tapes and counting at this point for his Doc. This still took less time than diging the 50 or 60 hours of tape. We are still on Panther as our Imagesan2 software doesn’t support Tiger yet. (although we bought 3 copies and are waiting) We are a PC house except for the 3 m100 HDs so haven’t needed the studio version of Flip4mac to make .wmv files.

We had something similar when we upgraded the video card on a dual 2.5 the extra heat caused issues with the HD board that didn’t show up until then. The noisey fans are annoying.
