What is the source video? HD? DV? HDV? or?

Match the sequence setting to the properites of the QT movies you have and all should be OK.

As far as I know, you should be using the Easy setup for DVCPRO 720p24. did you?
720p/n creates media files which are natively 24fps… other than that it’s the same as removing the pulldown say from tape shot at 720p24.
The sequence setting then should be 23.98fps. Is it?

I’d not worry about it, but just keep looking at the external monitor to make sure you’ve picked the right line to move to.

It’s DV and HDV only…

I was asleep… Just open a blank on the desktop and drag files to it. then when you eject it will ask you if you want to burn it.

Trash your preference files for FCP.

iDVD will do it. or DVD SP…

There’s a pref to turn this off. It’s in the Clip Settings tab of the HDV log and capture window.
