Whoa.. not quite “simple” questions there bud…

Maybe one of the big guys could answer this for you, I dunno..

You might want to repost in the main AE forum.. this isn’t “basic information” that any of us new people (less than 2 yrs experience) are going to know…

    Sry – g’luck

Wow that is actually pretty impressive..

To dissect this effect would probably take some major effort, but I’ll give it a go..

You could make the text objects into pictures and use a particle engine like Particular (trapcode) to spin them about, or do it manually.

There was a thread on here a month or so back about making “layers get sucked into a tornado” – the technique for that would probably work for this if you chose the manual method…

Other than that I’m pretty clueless – I havent tried anything like that yet..

    Good luck

I can’t help with Premier as I haven’t used it.

    about After effect :

i change the HD to 300 GB,RAM to 5 GB grafic card NVIDIA
but my PC only read 2 GB of RAM and i dont know why

Your HD should be fine, although if you’re doing production work, you really should have multiple drives (including one dedicated for AE’s cache thing) and one dedicated for your project files and one for your OS .. if you start running out of room (under 5-10gb) windows will start to go really slow etc and slow down your workflow..

As for your memory, you need a 64bit operating system.

Standard 32bit OS’s only seem to detect 2-3 GB from what I’ve read.

If you do upgrade your OS make sure you have a 64bit CPU (which you already might since you can support more memory than 32bit boards do if i recall correctly..)
    Hope this helps 🙂

I couldn’t find anything for ya on the web or on Adobe’s site… it’s quite possible that the window went to “restore” mode and got moved up, if this is the case, simply press “ALT+spacebar” then presss the ‘X’ key… that should take it back to “Fullscreen mode”.

If you have it in window for a reason, it can be moved by pressint “Alt+space” then ‘m’ then simply use the arrow keys to move it about and press enter when its where you want it.

    I hope this helps.

forgot 3rd option – your memory/cache settings might need adjusting.. I’d try that before getting more ram (but the more the merrier)

Dunno if this will help, but make sure you save your project.

Then close anything you dont need running (instant messangers, itunes, p2p sharing programs anything of the sort that you dont NEED running).

Then in afterfx go to edit -> purge -> all
    then try previewing it again…

if this helps, then its likely that either 1. you’re doing too much and don’t have enough memory, or 2. you just plain need more memory.

    Hope it helps.

Sounds like you might have a heat problem.. or bad memory..

I don’t know of any decent free memory scanners, but for your system status stuff theres a few good programs I’d recommend..

Theres a program called “speedfan” that will read your temperatures and voltages, if you’re a little computer savvy it should make perfect sense.. and should let you know if things are … weird..

Also Microsoft guys have released something called “Process Explorer” you can even have it replace the stock task manager. It can show you all sorts of neat stuff about whats running and what your CPU’s up to..

SpeedFan 4.33 (not for computer noobs)

Process Explorer (not for computer noobs)

Hope this information is of some use to you..

I believe Aharon (pretty sure anyhow) has a tutorial (its 3 parts) he takes a beach, adds lightning and trees and some other stuff… it was very well done, the lightning looks quite natural on it…
