Did you do anything after it?…

CTRL + Z = UNDO (edit menu -> undo)

if you closed it already tho…. g’luck remembering how you made it – i don’t recall there being a way of getting it back..

thx – yeah I played a little with presets.. but I thought they were only for ONE effect? can you combine multiple effects under one preset?

like say you wanted glow + beam + trapcode shine under the same?

I thought only plugins could pull that one off… ?

I’ve learned sooo much from the community, after a year of lurking on the forums, I figured it’s time I contributed something back…

This would make my life MUCH easier to share the little knowledge I have, and alleviate “noob questions” so you “heads” (hehehe aharon always says “click on my head”) can deal with more important things – like answer the huge questions that some of us have no clue what they’re even asking about..

32bit os detects only 4 gigs of ram.

64bit will detect more

My answer won’t be great because I don’t know specifics about what you’ll be using your system for… but…

if you have good peripherals (montior, kbd, mouse, spkrs, etc)
you can simply replace the main system..

if you’re good with computers you can build a decent setup for under $1000 with parts from a cheap source such as https://newegg.com

I’d suggest multiple core cpu(s), lots of hard drive (at lest 300+ gb) and gobs of memory as well as a decent gaming video card (I say gaming because just about anything that’ll work for gaming works great for graphic arts).

if you DONT know how to build a pc, DELL makes some decent systems, or from what I hear the new apple’s aren’t too shabby either, but I’m a pc person.. soooo…

um your range selector thing has a start and end…

you might just have to animate the back end of the effect to stick to the front end…

might take some moving of keyframes, but it should be entirely possible to do with 1 text object on 1 layer..
