Helpful… well read the tip of the day at startup and the Online Help menu

Graphics card… 256+ of dedocated VRAM

Matrox and Decklink matter not to AE since you can’t capture with that App

Render Faster… thats processor and RAM

how much RAM,Hard disk i need?
Well, you want at LEAST 1 gigabyte per cpu core, as for hard disk… video files can get quite large.. so the more HD you have, the less headaches you’ll get later (I would suggest something with the SATA interface, if you can afford it maybe some SCSI HD’s @10,000 RPM for faster access… but minimum 7200 RPM no less (5400 is cheap, but SLOOOOOW)

what Grafic Card i need?
something that works decent. I like the nVidia 8600 GTS/OC – fairly priced for the features, and it supports overclocking from the factory – dont do this without good cooling..

i have pinnacle RT is doest it work?

cpu with multiple cores (or multiple cpu’s with multiple cores)

also have heard good things about “Gridiron Nucleo/pro”

on a budget? find a bunch of old pc’s and learn about render farms..

sry i mix two question in one
about Premiere:

i have adobe premiere 6.5(i already have pinacle RT)
but i want to install adobe premiere pro so pinacle RT is good for it?or i should change the card?

about After effect :

i change the HD to 300 GB,RAM to 5 GB grafic card NVIDIA
but my PC only read 2 GB of RAM and i dont know why

Your HD should be fine, although if you’re doing production work, you really should have multiple drives (including one dedicated for AE’s cache thing) and one dedicated for your project files and one for your OS .. if you start running out of room (under 5-10gb) windows will start to go really slow etc and slow down your workflow..

As for your memory, you need a 64bit operating system.

Standard 32bit OS’s only seem to detect 2-3 GB from what I’ve read.

If you do upgrade your OS make sure you have a 64bit CPU (which you already might since you can support more memory than 32bit boards do if i recall correctly..)

32bit os detects only 4 gigs of ram.

64bit will detect more
