I took a look at the AAF in text view and the only transitions it alludes to are Avid Plasma Wipe HD Frazzle. I believe this is one of the Avid Plasma Wipes that has to be installed separately via their Avid Goodies installer.

It seems like it may be some sort of Radial Wipe with noise. If you could export and AAF of the sequence we can take a closer look at it here on some older systems. You can send that directly to me at jeremye@borisfx.com.

If that file is in the Common Files folder than yes you would want to remove that and only have it in the Sony specific folder.

Jean-Luc,
You are correct and that is most likely the issue. The Red installer defaults to installing to:
C:/Program Files/CommonFiles/OFX/Plugins
If you uninstall and reinstall and change that to:
C:/Program Files/Sony/Vegas Pro 10.0/OFX Video Plugins
that should correct the problem. Please let me know if that works.
Thank You

Hello,
Mike I am still unable to reproduce your issue but after reading what Guillaume wrote I doubled checked and I am trying this on Sony Vegas 11 64bit build 595. Which build are you on? Also James if you could let us know what build you are on as well.
Thank You

May 29, 2012 at 5:58 pm in reply to: BCC8 / Vegas 10 Pro / 3d Image Shatter not shatteringHello Stewart,
I sent you an email but wanted to respond here as well. Our team was unable to reproduce your issue, however they are using Sony Vegas 10e. It is possible it could be an issue with earlier versions of Sony Vegas and the suggested upgrading and seeing if the problem persists. Also please make sure you are on the latest version of BCC which is currently 8.0.1.

Hello Jaeson,
Try applying a filter such as Artist’s Poster and selecting the option button in its effect controls. This should pop up a window allowing you to enable the OpenGL. Then try the Damaged TV filter again.
Thank You
