had the same problem a while back with an Adrenaline. I Punched the G5 in the face. It stopped working immedietley. It was replaced by Apple by a unit that DID work.

Console diving.. how cool. Purchase some firewire drives, and spend the extra time and effort to move the media between the two systems. Your facility was too cheap to buy shared storage, so you need to bill your clients for the time needed for foolish work-arounds.
BILL THEM, and you’ll get enough $$ to maybe get a real storage setup for christmas…

If you have Direct, you must have a keyspan. With a mojo, using firewire for control, you set it to Firewire.

I haven’t heard of any problems with a “class” of Avid drives. Are you on a UPS for your setup?

Make sure your system has clean reference into it. Some sync generators have problems with DNA products.

The files generated by the CapDiv may need to be imported directly into a bin in order to convert them to OMF.
Mount the CapDiv, and drag the files to a bin. Then get coffee.. it may take a while.
