    Hey Mike,

I have the JHM presets, but this .veg file was new to me. Are there any other JHM goodies?

Something else is turning it back on, somewhere. Check everything that can make this happen.

I have made dozens of DVD’s with subtitles, a few of them with 32 tracks. I’ve never seen this happen before. If you have no success after checking every event or trigger, re-install DVDA.

    Are you rendering to WMV?

If so, pick something else. Try Sony AVC.

Sorry to keep you waiting Val.

I looked at your photos. Try deinterlacing the HDV with resample off and adjust the frame rate to 25. Choose a section with motion, deinterlace with blend fields and a second one with interpolate fields. Decide which one works best.

I would like to see this too. For me they would be used both ways, .mov with an alpha channel and .veg with without the size issues.

What does “a mess” actually mean? Feel free to post some screen shots.

You will have to make the template. Click on customize template, set it up and save it with a new name.

Open the Preview, Trimmer, and Audio windows, then drag them by the dots to wherever you want them to dock.

You might want to try a lossless codec to go between AE and Vegas. Quicktime’s animation preset is one I used to use. The DNxHD codec is very good, then there is always uncompressed AVI. I’m sure others here have better choices, I just haven’t had any problem lately.
