Solved here differently – the above method didn’t work for me…
If you put a title over the offending/blue flash material & set the opacity to 0, it forces Premiere to re-render the area & the blue flash disappears – worked for me & my work colleague (who showed it to me.)

It’s kind of a long story, but I’m finishing the 3 min video as a 720×404 streaming flv. The video has screen capture from a computer with lots of text. The only way I have found to keep the text looking clean is to use these settings. I tried just about everything else!
Thx for the input, if you have any ideas.

I did it both ways – any recommendation on how to export & transcode form Camtasia? I was using the QT mov export.

Watching the footage on both the Mac I’m cutting on & the PC.
Again, the biggest issue is after final encode that it looks terrible. I will try your suggestion, though.

Have tried different codecs – main one was techsmith’s codec.

Ok. Not sure what you mean by how am I monitoring the footage?

I believe they were in 1280×720 to capture most of the screen – I was going to try to get the camtasia in 96×720 & see if that helped.
