OK will try that. Part of the problem is that I couldn’t even get the text looking clean at 960×720 – will work on that. Thx.

Exporting using all current settings. The problem is when you encode a 1280×720 or 960×720 export at 720×404 (our video player size), the camtasia screen capture looks awful. When I cut in a sequence that is 720×404, what you see is what you get in resolution. Even when the screens look clean in a 1280×720 export, on encode they get fuzzy.
So the solution that I found was changing to 720×404 & Animation codec to keep the screen captured text clean.
If you have any thoughts on things to try, I’d appreciate it!

We are finishing with 720×404 videos.
I have screen capture from Camtasia at 1280×720 & the only way it doesn’t look like crap on export is to use the 2nd set of settings. I tried just about everything else I could think of.

I changed the settings on my sequence to improve the resolution of screen captures – see attached. Then I needed to change the media to conform to sequence.

Animation looked cleaner. I tried 1280×720 but text wasn’t clear either. Will check that again.
I don’t know if it helps, but the text is from a Camtasia screen recording.

Thx Shane – that’s the problem – looks perfect at 100% in canvas, unrendered. I render it & loses resolution.
