i am trying compression master but when i import my self contained .mov file to convert it to mpeg 2 it says:
error file format not supported.

what does it support if it doesnt .mov?

i updated my graphics card drivers on both machines (nvidia 6800 and ati x800).

it still doesnt work…

the thing is that the whole project is interlaced except these animations. are you suggesting to move everything to a progreesive timeline?

i found what it was.
if you copy them using finder it is ok.
i was copying them using mucommander and they didnt appear. strange…

if i moved my other plugins to another folder and moved them back they ALL dissapeared from final cut.

using the finder made then come back.
