Thanks, I figured there was a way. The manual is a little weak on explaining some things. I’m trying to dive a little deeper into the program and learn more.

Ok, first since I haven’t posted here in awhile, sorry for the dual posts – my bad. 2nd, I figured out my problem, I just needed to do a clean install.

    John,

Thank you, I got it. Wondering though can you have camera moves on your animation that
will be composited into FCP 5? Because I took a existing file with letters and a camera moving around the letters and I could not get it to composite into FCP, but when I started with a new file and just put in text no camera I was able to composite file.

Thank you again for your help!

    John,

Thank you for the reply, when I render my quicktime file with alpha channel checked then import into FCP, the file does not show it has a alpha channel and I can’t composite against another piece of video. Not sure where I am off, but I have yet to figure this out.

I thought this probably was the way to do this. Can you mix multiple textures on a single plane?

    Thanks

The realtime thing is only indicated for their pro version which is not even out yet and I was assuming there may be a catch to this even when it does come out. I am willing sacrifice the time if you can achieve good results, because the quality in compressor for the most part has always sucked.

Thanks for the response, seeing I don’t have a pc at this point, I think I am going to opt for BitVice since it is now optimized for the Quad G5 and their indicating their pro version will be realtime. But I am going to first demo as you suggested.

    Thanks

Has anyone used Heuris Mpeg Power Professional DVD software for encoding?
