I just bought the PCIe extreme card, got it set up and ran some test’s recording video into it and everytime I record I am recording 12trks of audio with my quicktime file. I go to audio/video pref in FCP 5.04 and it only allows me to select 48k 12 inputs of audio recording. Is there anyway to change this, I would think you could just select 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 inputs depending on what you want to do. Because everytime I take my quicktime file and drag into the timeline 12trks of audio come with it.

I am recording composite video to the analog composite input and analog audio to the 2 XLR balanced inputs.

    Hi,

Log and Capture Window, then click on the Clip Settings tab. Click on the little speaker icons to turn the audio channels on and off.
