That should be a big improvement over the 5400rpm system drive. You can also go Esata with an expresscard adapter.

[Jason Jenkins] “OK, I figured out that I can set a “loop end” marker in Motion and that will fix the length of the title animation in FCPX; i.e. I can trim the title without retiming it. However, the title is still coming in at 25 seconds long and it’s looping the 10 second animation.”
It looks like I had a couple of empty groups floating around in my Motion timeline that gave it the extra length. I deleted them and all is well. 🙂
