So if I’m importing from a camera, then create new event…import from cam, create new event on system drive, go to finder and import references from event folder in original media folder, create proxy from that?

Doesn’t this just move the clip? I believe the question is about nudging the range selected?

I’ve always used mig asst to move applications to new installs of OS. worked very well for me. Interested in hearing other comments on this topic.

The function is called “quick look”. In previous operating systems, it’s been available from the menu bar in a finder window. I would try to do it manually from there To see if it’s a problem with the space bar not functioning correctly, or QuickLook not functioning correctly.

Getting super irritated today. This was working, but for some reason today…there are only 12 clips showing up under the smart collection “not used” which aggregates all clips WITHOUT the word “used” in camera name.

There are at least another 20 clips that this scenario applies to and for some reason FCPX won’t pick this up. Anyone have inconsistencies with this?

I played with this a bit, and I found that there are some fields that carry from the project, up to the event. Camera angle is not one of them. But I believe camera type is. That’s where I put the metadata for “used clips”
