Wish they did, but I haven’t had success to get a “tail echo” (meaning beyond the clips real boundary) with the FCP X’s Logic Space effects.

If I want to put a reverb onto an audio track, but extend the echo beyond the clip length, is there any way to do so? I tried everything, including compounding the audio. Nothing worked. I don’t wanna do a round trip to an audio software just for that.

Open the audio clip in it’s own timeline. Insert a long enough gap at the end of the clip (Opt-W). Go back to timeline and lengthten the audio clip and apply the effect. Too bad the Logic effects like PlatinumVerb or Space Designer don’t work so you have to use the Final Cut ones.

Yes, that’s right. The show was a huge success here in Finland and the last episode was aired last wednesday.

BTW Jesse Jokela, the editor, did all soundmixing inside FCPX and also the grading on Resolve and I can tell you that it all looked and sounded suberb!
The show (8 episodes) has been sold to some countries, but I don’t know which ones. The name of the show translated from finnish is “Arman’s Last Crusade”.

And the crew on location consisted of two guys (the host Arman Alizad and the DOP Tuukka Tiensuu, who also edited few episodes on FCP7) and it was shot mainly on a Canon 3D MKIII.

Have you tried the usual i.e trashing the prefs? You should be able to change the name of the folder just as you can change the name of the Project in the Project Library. It’s not recommended to mess with FCP X on finder level.
