    Hi Thomas, I don’t see any Help in R16’s Teamrender.
    Having the same problem you described at first: wrong build id, but not knowing how to update.

    Hi Tim, I use the latest drivers (10.1.4), a Decklink Studio 2 and PAL (720×576) on a Mac. So my situation is rather different than yours. I talked with Adobe about this in the week that cc2014 was released, but the issue still remains. Since AECC is working still, conlcuding the hardware is all right, I think Adobe must be able to solve the problem in CC2014.

    Thanks for your reaction! Do you mean the ‘Output unsupported frame sizes’ setting? That is set to Black Magic Decklink Pro. But no image, when an SD comp is active.

    Same problem here for more than a month now. Contacted both Adobe and Blackmagic Design, but neither came with a proper solution yet.

    HD compositions do output, but SD does not output on HD monitor via Blackmagic nor via HDMI
    It still works in AE CC, but not in AE CC 2014.

    I think Mercury Transmit lacks the scaling features? Or it just does not address this the right way to the hardware?

    Please come with a fix for this, since broadcasters are still requesting SD programmes.

    If, for some reason, a Null Object is not suitable, you can open the Material Editor and drag the selection to the Assignment field. (The lowest option in the Channel list on the left)

    Input Violation Contract errors occur to me all the time. They are annoying.
    They occur when AE checks if all footage is still available.
    I work a lot with C4D to render 3d scenes. Once imported the resulting .mov in AE, and placed in a Composition, AE thinks it owns the .mov. When I rerender the C4D scene (tweeking…), AE feels that there is something going on with the .mov, and gives an error.

    It should just replace the footage by a placeholder and maybe give the usere a message, but now it’s totally locked up with two errors: the Input Violation and this:
    [/ae1200cs7_64/pro/ext/adobe/MediaCore/MediaLayer/ImporterHost/Make/Mac/../../Src/Importer/FileImporter.cpp-1241]

    This stops when the C4D result is complete, but I would love to work in the meantime 😉

  • In most camera trackers, the user is able to define the scale, by drawing a line of which the real life length is known, and then give it a value.
    This should be a feature. Let’s request it!
