  • I agree, ug to V2!!!
I did an hour & half with PPROV2 on a 2.2Ghz with 1Gb ram, and it worked pretty good, and I was using a large number of 2560×1920 stills in the project. I was concerned about the ability to do such a large project considering what I’d heard about V1.5, but V2 really worked good!

(I encountered an slowdown issue with a plugin, Steadymove Pro, but that has since been fixed!)

  • Is there any chance you have your program monitor set as draft quality?

Try an output, and see if that is blurry too….

Let me ask one other question….. If I want to alter the shape of rectangle or eliptical Marquee…. Make it fatter or thinner….

    Thanks!

Thanks both of you… It was the addition of the Feathered edge that had me stumped….

I’m a video guy, not an artist, and to my way of thinking, I wanted to do a soft edged wipe to background in a switcher….

Learning the ways of doing this in Photoshop is a different approach compared to video…. THANKS!!!!

Read the notes on operation, as there are many adjustments, and until you
get the feel of them, they can confuse you.
Start with the default settings, render it, examine results…
add one extra filter at a time…. and learn which filter will work best with what movement.

As long as there is not a very fast, very abrupt camera whip pan, you should be able to get good results, but there is a learning curve that you will encounter, until you get the ‘feel’ of the adjustments…

Due to the way I purchased Spicemaster I have has me load V2.0 first, then I load V2.5 on top of it…. I had no problems using V2, but V2.5 has a much better user interface, and I’d suggest the upgrade cost for V2.5 would be well worth the investment…
