    Should have said… Transverter outputs -20 PPRO wants -12 so your captured audio is -8db lower than necessary….

    All were asking for is a way to confirm levels, audio & video, Before the capture, so we can verify correct levels before we capture!!!

  • I feel your pain…. There’s many of us who have asked for this same thing.

    I’ve rehashed this often before, but if your consumer deck is -10 and your transverter takes -10 to -20 digital, like many of the consumer transverter’s do… and PPRO wants -12 not -10, your already 8db low in audio…..

    And you won’t find this out until you capture….. Then you get to do it all over again!!!

    I’m not suggesting that PPRO have meters & Scopes available at all times during capture, I’m just suggesting that it be available as a reference point prior to capture, so you know where your level’s are!

  • I got it… Downloaded the Photoshop help files to the packages directory,
    and istalled it from there….

    I am being led to believe that problem was unique to me….

    I’ve encountered a simelar condition, but only when ‘over correcting’ the settings…
    Or, are you using the default settings only?
