  • New Photoshop CS2 install…. No help files… ???? How to get help files?

    First post here…

Installed Photoshop CS2 a couple months ago, and needed some help on an effect, so grabbed the manual….
It pointed me instead to the “Help Files” from within Photoshop CS2. So I went there, only to find that
they were not Downloaded yet (via the preferences tab)… So, I go to the preferences tab, and download the latest for all Adobe products, and I saw references to Adobe Help V2.0 fly by….

Exited and restarted Photoshop CS2… No help files.
    Restared computer…. Re-open Photoshop CS2, still no help files….

Followed the path for the downloaded items as listed in the preferences, and explore those areas… I see the tabs, but no downloaded files in any of the folders there…

Can someone explain to me what I have to do in order to get the help files to run from the help pulldown at the top of the Program screen? You’d think it would be in the text manual….
