Copy the Contents folder and lastclip.txt back to the P2 card and put it back in the camera and see what it thinks about the corruption. If it plays, try reimporting it to the Apple, by first moving it to the HDD and then import to the FCP app.

FCP 5 will not work. You need minimally the 5.04. Then assuming that you maintained the Contents folder and the last clip file, all you need to do is go to Import/ Panasonic P2, use the navigational buttons and point it to the card file. From there it should show up.

Make sure you have your project set to the right format, etc. Should work just fine.

You do not need the Manager software to mount and move the files from the P2 Store to the Mac. All you need to do is to mount it and the partitions on the P2 store will show up on the desktop as individual drives. From there, move them to your Media Archive Drive and you will be fine.

The customers can also log on to our website which should be able to go up tomorrow or at latest on Thursday and that will shorten the time that it will take to get the form to us and it won’t have to go by the US Mail Service.

Go back to the website. Put in the HVX200 model number and it will tell you the service facility in LA. There are only two locations for service on this camera right now.

Call the LA service center, let them know you need to send it in.
