    I agree. Read the manual, with cinema open on your computer, and try out all the things you read about in the manual. Also, read the Cinema forums. I’ve learned a lot from the forums by just reading others’ posts, as well as asking questions.

    Thanks, Brian, that did it. I made the Selected Axis color a dark gold, and the readout shows up fine.

    I think I’ve found a solution. I made my Alpha map in Photoshop CS2. I tried it again in Photoshop CS, and it worked the way it should. So, it looks like Cinema is not compatible with Photoshop CS2.

    So now I’ve got the parts I don’t want cut out with the alpha. The only problem now is that the edges are not clean. Where the alpha cuts the edge, there are sort of “icicles” hanging down, which are the sides of the terrain. I want to eliminate those and have just a clean edge. Any ideas on how to achieve this?

    You can also try the Vectorizer object, which is found in the spline objects menu.
