In 9.5, the rotation tool has these colored bands to help you rotate, and also has a text readout of the rotation in degrees. This is great, but the problem is the text is white, and is almost always on top of the band I’m using to rotate, which turns yellow, making the text hard to read. Is there a way to change the color of the text readout for the rotation tool? I’ve looked all over the preferences and the HUD configuration window and I can’t find anything. Or in the manual either.

    thanks,
    Jack

looks like it would be difficult to figure out which is the right one for the text (and it probably would change some other text too) – unless someone knows which it should be, but!
the color of the selected axis is simple – Preferences/Viewport/Colors/Selected Axis – you could make it darker so the text shows better

Thanks, Brian, that did it. I made the Selected Axis color a dark gold, and the readout shows up fine.

    Thanks,
    Jack
