Thanks Jerry for this information. So if I understand right the Mac Pro RAID card is only for an internal raid? An external raid can do without the Mac Pro raid card, just an esata card?

Put video and audio in one bin , sort on tc. You’ll see matching audio and video ,select video and matching audio, merge files,select option tc,start etc
that’s is, but it’s a manual operation. Videotoolshed.com has an application to automate it

@Gary: I did not know HD Cam was 8bit 3:1:1. So what would be the best setting to capture HD CAM?

Same thing here. I have a MacPro with BlackMagic Decklink HD extr. My mighty mouse had this problem.Yesterday I replaced it with Magic Mouse, hoping the problem would be solved. But it’s still the same with the new mouse. I just read your post and removed my BM driver and the mouse worked fine again. So that makes three of us?

yes, about 80 percent of the drive. But I have decided to do a clean install of Macos and FCP Which I am doing at now…
