    why is there no audio when creating subclips?

    I am trying to organize various portions of 1 long clip as subclips. I have highlighted both the video and audio tracks, i double click, and hit Command U to create the subclip But only the video track is included. Whats up? What am I doing wrong?

    Any and all help is appreciated
