There’s a lot of old, useless material on the Internet. Then there’s some old, super useful material like this that make the Internet an archival jewel! Thanks, Kevin, works great.

Old threads can be good threads; thanks Amit, does indeed work.

Not Scott here but am here to offer appreciation for your find. I’ve tried it and it mostly works; certainly well enough to be worth the effort. “Mostly” means everything seems to move over except composite settings; I had one small problem with one PIP (why I don’t know as all the others were fine), but, again, nothing that wasn’t easily taken care of. Unfortunately, even though Vegas 14 is unstable, Vegas 13 didn’t prove any better (surprised) probably due to the GTX 670 as I get numerous project killing Unmanaged Exception (0xc0000005) Fault Module: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\nvoglv64.DLL errors which won’t go away despite much effort. Anyway, thanks for posting your find!

Aha! Mystery solved. Set Kart (hope that’s ok with you );) called it right. Now the only problem is getting build 545 which may be available on supplying proof of purchase (serial) and a request to Magix as suggested somewhere.

Again did exactly as recommended with no joy. As reported earlier, all the commands are grayed out; thus, Paste does not show but then neither does ctl-v. One can copy/paste across a pair of open Vegas 13’s or 14’s but across versions does not work. What OS are you using and what version of Vegas 14? Perhaps some clue there?

Didn’t work for me. Also, paste is grayed out in Vegas 13; thus, ctl-v also won’t work.

@ Dave Davis: ditto that exactly as you describe (except I’m at Build 453). I think evidence is accumulating showing that there is something akin to forgetfulness on the part of output meter master display.

In the continuing pursuit of what is now appearing to be a minority concern, i.e. the availability of Extras in a streamed environment, Mediazilla was discovered. Mediazilla addresses the concern by offering “Present professional videos to your clients with online Blu-ray menus and eliminate the hassle of discs, drives, and other delivery methods.” Their secret? You create the DVD using their software; it’s not going to be Blu Ray formatted for good reason but it does begin to answer the question of how to get a menu driven Blu Ray quality DVD available for streaming. No, ain’t an employee and no, don’t get no compense for this note; just reporting on technology advances.
