I am sorry I should have been more specific. I have seen some example pictures of video changed to comic book look and this is what I am trying to do. Without having to learn illustrator.
thanks for your help. -

Okay I did a color effect on V1 and got that crushed black blooming highlight look and then added a softfocus from saphhire. My problem now is blending layers. I want this layer (layer 1) to be behind layer V2 which will just be the same shot. I tried Superimpose and it just makes it look murky. What I am trying to do is by blending the 2 layers I want that soft highlight look that you see in movies like sky captian and world of tommorrow but without loosing alot of the detailed definition. Someone once told me to try add the composite effect and just drop the opacity but I do not see composite effect in Xpress Pro HD. thanks for your help

Magic Bullet has a bleach bypass look and so does DFT 55mm. Synthetic appeture Color finesse has secondary CC.

I opened up the effects window and their are no active buttons to promote to 3-D. I’m not quite sure how to do that. But you said title and this is just a Freeze frame of a video clip that I made using the Freeze frame option under the clip menu. Can you elaborate please.

I think it has something to do with Avid levels upon pulling up some older clips I have the same problem where I can barely hear the audio, then yet another will be fine. Any way to adjust the audio with out just boosting the timeline volume or adding gain?

Unfortunately I edit with Avid xpress pro HD and not Premiere and other way to import as filmstrip or arrange the psd documents within photoshop as a filmstrip?
thanks -
Okay I did export the clip as sequential files in PSD, but photoshop would only import them one as a time anyone know if I can load all at once as a filmstrip style?
thanks -
I’m exporting as a wav. Actually I’m not exporting from Protools I’m just importing into Avid from the Protools audio files folder. I did notice that the Protools files are 24 bit and I wonder if Avid is changing it 16 bit upon import and this might cause the volume problem? thanks again

Thanks for responding. Audio captured from my DV camera is fine. Imported music from audio CD’s is fine. It just any clip of audio recorded in Pro tools that I import into Avid its so low that even if I max. gain it at +12 its still low. When I record in Pro tools the level is fine, I turned it up in Pro tools to the point that the audio was almost peaking in the Red. When I do import into Avid I get a message about converting and the message has an 2 options one for coverting to 29.97 fps and another for non drop frames and have tried importing with both options selected. THanks for your help.
